TERMS & CONDITIONS
Business Name: 93 Cycles
Address: Unit 3, Lencia Industrial Estate, Ilkley, LS29 8JP
Email: workshop@93cycles.co.uk
Effective Date: 9/10/2025
1. General Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services, repairs, sales, and finance options provided by 93 Cycles (“we”, “our”, “us”) to our customers (“you”, “your”).
By booking a service, authorising a repair, or purchasing goods from us (including via a finance option), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updated version will be published on our website and available in-store.
2. Estimates and Quotations
All quotations are provided as good faith estimates based on the information available at the time. The final cost may vary if additional work, parts, or labour are required.
We will notify you before carrying out any additional work that would increase the estimated cost by more than 10%.
Quotations remain valid for 14 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
3. Repairs and Servicing
All repairs and servicing are carried out with reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry standards.
Parts used will be either genuine manufacturer components or high-quality compatible alternatives, depending on availability and your preference.
We accept no responsibility for the performance, safety, or compatibility of parts supplied by the customer.
All manufacturer warranties on parts are subject to the respective manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Completed bicycles must be collected within 7 days of notification of completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Storage and Abandoned Property
Completed bicycles not collected within 7 days of notification will incur a storage fee of £5 per day.
If a bicycle remains uncollected after 30 days and no communication has been received, the bicycle may be considered abandoned. In such circumstances, 93 Cycles reserves the right to sell or dispose of the bicycle to recover outstanding costs.
Storage and any additional administrative fees must be paid in full before collection.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Where shipping, courier, or collection services are arranged, all associated costs must be paid in advance.
We take reasonable care to package goods securely, but once an item has been handed to a courier, risk transfers to you.
Claims for damage or loss during transit must be made directly to the courier company in accordance with their procedures.
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delays or additional charges, for which we are not liable.
6. Payment and Finance Options
Payment in full is required upon completion of work and prior to the release of your bicycle or goods, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept cash, major debit and credit cards, and approved electronic payments, including bank transfer, PayPal, Clearpay, and Klarna.
We offer finance options through PayPal Pay in 3, Clearpay, and Klarna on eligible purchases. Finance availability is subject to approval by the respective finance provider.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, UK residents, and meet the provider’s credit criteria. 93 Cycles acts solely as an introducer and does not make lending decisions or offer credit directly.
All finance agreements are made directly between you and the relevant finance provider.
By selecting a finance option, you agree to be bound by that provider’s own terms, conditions, and privacy policy.
A non-refundable deposit may be required before work commences, particularly for custom builds, specialist orders, or high-value repairs. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking.
If you use PayPal, Clearpay, or Klarna finance options, any late or missed payments are handled solely by the finance provider. 93 Cycles is not responsible for any payment reminders, additional charges, or credit implications.
Where payment has not been received for non-financed work, 93 Cycles reserves the right to retain the bicycle or goods until full payment has been made. Unpaid balances over 30 days may result in additional storage or recovery costs.
7. Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of use, inconvenience, or loss of earnings, arising from services provided.
While all reasonable care is taken, bicycles and property are left with us at your own risk. We are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., fire, flood, or third-party interference).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
8. Warranty on Workmanship
All labour performed by 93 Cycles is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of collection, excluding normal wear and tear, improper use, or subsequent adjustment by third parties.
If an issue arises within the warranty period, you must notify us promptly. We reserve the right to inspect the bicycle and rectify any verified fault at our discretion.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal data (including name, contact details, and service history) in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
Personal data is used solely for providing our services, processing orders, and handling finance applications where applicable.
Finance applications via PayPal, Clearpay, or Klarna are processed under those providers’ own privacy policies and terms.
You may request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting workshop@93cycles.co.uk.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
