TERMS & CONDITIONS
General Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all goods, services, repairs, workshop labour, online sales, in-store sales, finance options, and deliveries provided by 93 Cycles (“we”, “our”, “us”) to any customer (“you”, “your”).
1.2 By placing an order, booking a repair, authorising work, using our website, or purchasing goods or services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will be available on our website and in-store.
1.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
Estimates and Quotations
2.1 All quotations are provided in good faith based on information available at the time.
2.2 Final costs may vary where additional labour, parts, safety issues, seized components, hidden faults, or customer-authorised upgrades are required.
2.3 We will seek approval before carrying out additional work likely to exceed the original estimate by more than 10%.
2.4 Quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
Repairs and Servicing
3.1 All workshop services are carried out with reasonable skill and care in accordance with normal industry standards.
3.2 Parts fitted may be genuine manufacturer parts or suitable compatible alternatives unless otherwise requested.
3.3 We accept no responsibility for defects, incompatibility, failure, or safety issues relating to customer-supplied parts.
3.4 Manufacturer warranties on parts remain subject to the relevant manufacturer’s own terms.
3.5 Safety-critical recommendations (e.g. brakes, tyres, frame damage, worn drivetrain components) may be advised. If declined, we reserve the right not to release the bicycle as roadworthy.
3.6 Completed bicycles must be collected within 7 days of notification unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Storage and Abandoned Property
4.1 Bicycles not collected within 7 days of completion notification may incur a storage charge of £5 per day.
4.2 If a bicycle remains uncollected for 30 days with no communication or payment, it may be treated as abandoned.
4.3 We reserve the right, after reasonable attempts to contact you, to sell or dispose of abandoned bicycles or goods to recover outstanding charges, storage fees, and costs.
4.4 Any surplus funds remaining after recovery of costs may be retained for a reasonable period for collection by the customer.
Shipping and Delivery
5.1 All bicycles with a retail value of £3,000 or more will be delivered using Bike Services UK or another specialist bicycle courier selected by us.
5.2 Bicycles or goods under £3,000 may be shipped using insured courier or signed-for delivery services chosen by 93 Cycles.
5.3 Bicycles shipped via Bike Services UK will be professionally prepared and delivered in a ready-to-ride condition, subject only to minor rider adjustments such as saddle height, cockpit position, or pedal fitting where applicable.
5.4 All bicycles receive a pre-dispatch inspection before shipment.
5.5 Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, supply shortages, or events outside our control.
5.6 Ownership of goods remains with 93 Cycles until full cleared payment is received. Risk transfers upon confirmed delivery.
5.7 Customers must provide accurate delivery details. Failed delivery attempts, re-delivery, returns, or storage charges caused by incorrect details or missed deliveries may be charged to the customer.
5.8 Customers must inspect goods upon delivery and notify us within 48 hours of any damage, shortages, or delivery issues, with photographs where possible.
5.9 Customers should retain original packaging for at least 48 hours after delivery in case return or courier inspection is required.
Payment and Finance Options
6.1 Full payment is required prior to release or dispatch of goods unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2 We accept cash, debit card, credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, Clearpay, and Klarna.
6.3 Eligible purchases may be financed through PayPal Pay in 3, Clearpay, or Klarna, subject to status, affordability, and approval by the relevant provider.
6.4 93 Cycles acts solely as an introducer and does not provide credit or make lending decisions. All finance agreements are between you and the finance provider.
6.5 By selecting a finance option, you agree to the provider’s own terms, fees, privacy notices, and repayment obligations.
6.6 Deposits may be required for custom builds, special orders, pre-orders, or high-value repairs. Unless otherwise stated, deposits are non-refundable once goods are ordered or work has commenced.
6.7 Missed finance payments are solely the responsibility of the finance provider and customer. 93 Cycles accepts no liability for charges, defaults, or credit impact.
6.8 We reserve the right to retain goods where payment has not been received in full.
Online Orders, Returns and Cancellations
7.1 Online and distance purchases may be subject to cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
7.2 Eligible consumers may cancel qualifying online orders within 14 days of delivery.
7.3 Returned goods must be unused beyond reasonable inspection, complete, and in original packaging where reasonably possible.
7.4 We may reduce refunds where goods show signs of use, damage, missing parts, assembly marks, outdoor riding, or handling beyond what would be permitted in-store.
7.5 The following may be exempt from cancellation unless faulty:

Workshop labour already completed

Used consumables / opened hygiene items
7.6 Unless faulty or incorrectly supplied, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
7.7 Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed, or unfit goods.
Fraud Prevention and Security
8.1 We reserve the right to carry out payment security, identity, and fraud prevention checks on any order.
8.2 We may request proof of ID, address, or alternative payment verification before dispatching high-value orders.
8.3 We reserve the right to cancel, delay, or refund any order where fraud is suspected.
8.4 Fraudulent chargebacks or false payment disputes may result in recovery action, reporting to payment providers, and legal action.
Liability
9.1 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of earnings, travel costs, inconvenience, race entry fees, or loss of enjoyment.
9.2 Bicycles and property left with us are stored with reasonable care, however we are not liable for theft, fire, flood, accidental damage, or events beyond our control unless caused by our negligence.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Warranty on Workmanship
10.1 Labour carried out by 93 Cycles is guaranteed for 30 days from collection or delivery date.
10.2 This excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, crashes, corrosion, lack of maintenance, customer alterations, or third-party work carried out after our service.
10.3 Any warranty issue must be reported promptly and returned for inspection before remedial work is undertaken elsewhere.
10.4 This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
Privacy and Data Protection
11.1 We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
11.2 Data may be used for order fulfilment, workshop bookings, warranty support, finance introductions, fraud prevention, and customer communication.
11.3 Finance providers such as PayPal, Clearpay, and Klarna process your data under their own privacy policies.
11.4 You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting workshop@93cycles.co.uk.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
